Met Eireann has issued an Orange Alert warning of heavy thundery showers for Co Kildare.
Forecasters are warning that the downpours will hit a total of 12 counties in the Midlands and north west Ulster tomorrow afternoon and evening.
However temperatures will still be high tomorrow and reach the low 20s Celsius.
An Orange Alert is the second highest weather warning level - below Red and above Yellow - that forecasters can issue.
