Gardaí in Naas have thanked the public for their assistance after they issued an appeal for witnesses yesterday following a hit and run incident in Ovidstown on Monday in which a teenage boy received minor injuries.
Naas Gardaí said: "This issue has now been resolved and we thank the public for their assistance which helped to identify all parties involved."
It is understood that on Monday, January 21 at 5.10pm a youth was struck in the Ovidstown area near Straffan.
The teenager received minor injuries after he was struck by a blue car which was reported to have left the scene.
