A housing project in Leixlip is set to go ahead after an appeal against Kildare County Council's decision to grant planning permission for a new development was turned down.
The council accepted the plans submitted by McEleney Construction Limited for the construction of seven four-bed two-storey houses in two blocks of three and four houses and ancillary siteworks at a site at St Mary’s Park. The development is set to cost in the region of €1 million.
An appeal was lodged in relation to the council's granting of planning permission, but An Bord Pleanála have since turned away that appeal.
