An Bord Pleanála have granted planning permission to developers to deliver more than 280 homes to Newbridge as part of the strategic housing development scheme.
Stennock Limited have been granted planning permission by the planning board to develop a site located south of The Meadows residential development, at “The Paddocks”, Morristownbiller and Cornelscourt, Station Road, Newbridge.
The development will consist of a residential development of 281 units, comprising of 167 apartments within five 3-4 storey blocks, and 114 houses.
The houses will range from 16 detached, 76 semi-detached and 22 terraced units. The provision of a crèche, bike and bin stores, 460 car parking spaces and 406 bicycle parking spaces have been included in the plans too.
Provision of public open spaces and completion of street network and link roads is also listed in the documents.
The proposed development will complete The Paddocks residential scheme. The application contains a statement setting out how the proposal will be consistent with objectives of the relevant development plan or local area plan. The application may be inspected, or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, during public opening hours at the offices of An Bord Pleanála and Kildare County Council.
