A search is currently ongoing near the River Liffey in Clane.
KildareNow understands that Gardaí are searching for the body of a young woman in the area and they are currently being assisted by the Garda helicopter.
“As this is a live operation, it is on going and cannot comment further at this time”, a Garda spokesperson told KildareNow this afternoon.
Gardaí from Naas and Clane are currently searching a stretch of water near Alexandra Bridge in Clane.
