Kildare GAA are on the hunt for a Head of Operations who will be able to assist in the day to day running of the county's activities at both club and county level.
The appointment of someone to such a role is a progressive step for GAA in the county as it shows the willingness to provide a sustainable long-term plan that has more members dedicated to achieving that.
A statement from Kildare GAA outlined how the new Head of Operations would be 'directly responsible for assisting the Kildare County Executive in formulating the long-term objectives and priorities for the development of our games in Kildare, whilst carrying out duties in relation to the day to day management and operations of the county board’s activities.'
The new Head of Operations will be in charge of the entire commercial operations and strategic direction of GAA in the county according to the statement.
