Motorists are being advised to avoid part of the N7 this afternoon following a serious incident.
The incident occurred on the N7 Inbound near J5 Athgoe, and traffic in the area is extremely heavy at present. Emergency services are currently at the scene and are dealing with the situation, but motorists are being advised to find an alternative route to that part of the N7 if possible.
According to reports, a truck has overturned and is causing a major obstruction.
Traffic is extremely slow-moving on approach to the area, while on the N7 Outbound it is also very slow due to rubberneckers.
