A Naas Judge slammed a man who Gardaí told Naas District Court was found in an incident 'lamping' for rabbits at The Curragh.
The 30-year-old accused pleaded guilty to the charge of entering land without permission, at The Curragh.
Sgt Brian Jacob told the court how the man with an address in Dublin was involved in an incident where lights were being shone to daze rabbits in order to capture them.
Represented by Defence Aisling Murphy, she said: "He was driving the vehicle."
Defence told the court how no rabbits had been captured.
Sgt Jacob said they were caught so they could not have captured any rabbits.
Addressing the accused, Judge Desmond Zaidan said: "What were you going to do with the rabbits, eat them?"
Ms Murphy outlined in the Defence that the accused, a father of three children, ranging in ages from 12 to seven, was 'very concerned' about the 'impact a conviction would have on his job.'
She asked if the accused could make a donation to the KWWSPCA.
Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered that the accused pay a €500 donation to the KWWSPCA.
The Judge ordered that if the accused pays the donation to the KWWSPCA, then a Section 1(1) would be imposed.
