Applegreen have revealed further details on their plans to build a global training hub in Naas that would provide a huge amount of employment for the area.
The proposed plans will see the construction of a massive service station at the old Cemex site near the Maudlins Roundabout near the M7. The company applied for planning permission last June, but they were asked to provide further details of what their plans for the area are.
It has been revealed that Applegreen seek to build a 6,000 sq metre global logistics and food production facility and a large service station, while there will also be 434 car parking spaces constructed.
Applegreen already have one store in the town on the road going towards the Bundle of Sticks Roundabout, but the proposed new construction would dwarf the existing store.
