Irish Rail have reminded their customers that there will be a number of changes to their timetables across the country from Sunday September 9 onwards.
The changes will have an affect on some Kildare services, including the trains serving Maynooth and Newbridge.
Irish Rail have advised their customers to check their updated timetables online before they go to their local station.
The changes are a result of an increased weekday DART frequency, and associated alterations including time changes and stopping patterns on other Commuter routes to accommodate these improvements. There is also a need to accommodate planned off-peak frequency increases on Maynooth/M3 Parkway, Phoenix Park Tunnel and Northern Commuter lines from December 2018.
The Kildare services affected are as follows;
- Maynooth and M3 Parkway Commuter
- Minor departure time changes to a number of services throughout the day, including some earlier departure times
- Some off-peak weekday services and all weekend services will operate between Dublin Connolly and Maynooth, instead of Dublin Pearse
Newbridge and Hazelhatch to Grand Canal Dock (Phoenix Park Tunnel)
- Minor departure time changes to a number of services throughout the day, including some earlier departure times
